WCLS provides services to people who have been denied CPP, including CPP-Disability. CPP-Disability is benefit for individuals who have paid into CPP in enough years in the recent past and have a prolonged and severe disability. WCLS offers information, advice, and sometimes representation on appeals to the Social Security Tribunal.
Examples of Canada Pension Plan issues we may help with:
-
Your application for benefits was denied
-
You were receiving CPP but your benefits were cancelled
-
You have been told that you have not worked enough hours to qualify for benefits
-
You believe that your dependent(s) should qualify for the Children’s benefit but you are not receiving it
We do not distribute or complete regular CPP or CPP-Disability applications. You can obtain a copy of the applications from Service Canada in person or online. For CPP-Disability, you will need to bring a set of forms to your medical practitioner to complete, and there are also forms for you to complete.
